Minutes: January 26, 2004

In attendance: Fr. Brian Taylor; Fr. Dick Murphy, Don Partridge, Diane Butler, Patricia Riggins.

Unable to attend: Fr. Gary Meade, Don Noack, Jim Tryon.

Actions taken:

1. Drafted principles for policy re approval of expenditures. P. Riggins will write up and present at next steering committee.

2. Approved reimbursing B. Taylor and D. Noack for their travel expenses to conference in Birmingham, Alabama.

3. Set next future meetings for Tuesday afternoons: 5:30 at SMAA.

4. Drafted organization structure and subcommittees. See attached document

Discussion:

1. Subcommittee structure and function

2. Web site maintenance and monitoring. Recommendation to follow guidelines so that web site does not or encourage contain inappropriate emails.

3. Need to create presence in southern part of diocese.
